roof rails



The rails are vertical on the side facing the sunroof & slanted on the opposite side, as well as curved to fit the roof. You will need to duplicate both rails. Good luck.
 


If I had an extra set I would lend them to you but I dont even have my own set of Rails :( but I definatly wouldnt mind a set.
 
i asked a guy around the block if he was willing to take his roof rails off his 02 special edition to sell them. he didn't even ask me what i was willing to pay before he said no.

there's another one around, i'm gonna ask him next time i see him.

i'll be attempting molds as soon as i get myself a pair.
 


I don't think anyone ever bothered to send him their rails to make the molds with.

Otherwise he could be mass producing at a cheap price and make everyone happy and put some money in the bank. lol
 
That would be another reason GM is going under, chasing people making copies of parts they discontinued and no long sell. I wouldn't see the problem, not like GM can sell a part that is no long kept in inventory.
 


yeah the guy i bought my rails from works for gm and there has been 3 lawsuits about people just reproducing them not even selling them and gm won all of the suits
 
So if i make them and install them on my car, gm canada will magically find out, sue me, and the court will order me to destroy them?
