Roller rockers or 1.9 modded

Ok i've been searching this topic all morning, I've found some stuff on the subject but want to hear more.

Which do i get the 1.8 roller rockers or the 1.9 modded rockers?
Price is a factor the cheaper the better haha, but i still want the best for the car.

Right now i have:
06 GP
3.6 pulley
ssac headers
open cone
180 tstat
colder plugs
and this is what else i want to do- meth injection and either rollers or modded 1.9. what are your guys opinions on both. Thanks

well with the 1.9s your gonna need new springs. i say go for the 1.8 rollers. ive got em and i like them
 
you dont need new springs for modded 1.9s.

either way youre not picking your best option, so your lack of money is killing you.
 
so go for the 1.9 rollers or just get 1.95 and get the springs and retainers to go with it?

What would be a better option then rollers and a meth injection? the only other thing i can do is intercooler. But for the price i can get a meth and still be ahead over getting the short stack and for less.
 


yeah or wbody store. Theres a lot of places. I think i will end up getting the 1.95 rollers then along with the meth. That should make a pretty quick car :)

The transmission becomes an issue once you get up close to 300WHP, but it can fail below that if you abuse it. My old trans only lasted 6-months with my latest build + the beatings it got before the build.
 
I would just go with 1.9 modded and some 105# springs. A lot of people don't know/realize they have valve float until they see it on a dyno.
 


That's why I always recommend valve springs on rockers over 1.84...modded stockers or rollers...it never hurts to spend the extra $50 or whatever.
 
ill just get the rollers then if the 1.9s should have new springs and retainers. I want to rev above 6k so might as well go with rollers. Plus shipping from Canada my core charge is basically useless and by the time its all said and done the difference between the 2 is like 70 bucks.

Well you can rev past 6k on stockers, its not really the rockers holding you back, its the stock springs and reliability of the stock timing chain/lifters. Also have to factor in the cam/rockers affect on the valvetrain. Let us know what type of rollers your going with before buying them.
