Rockers/Cam

So Im planning to turbo my l26 in the future and some thoughts crossed my head.

My original plans were:
Intake
Plog
Hv3
ER rockers
Tune

Now that Im considering turbo Im wondering if I should go cam or rockers...
Dont really wanna machine my heads so I dont like the idea of both atm.

Im not going to be going turbo for a year or 2 so I wanna mod in the meantime... Im wondering what ratio rockers I should get to best carry over to the turbo, or if I should skip the rockers, keep em stock, and cam it... will an NA cam like GT1 work alright in a turbo engine with stock rockers?
What about VS cam?
Or is it far better to get a specialized turbo cam like ZZP has? Im not really worried about tiny hp numbers between different cams if it comes down to that.

Whatever cam you do...don't skimp and NOT buy an upgraded valvetrain...example...105 springs/retainers. Can you run a VS cam on stock valvetrain? Sure...is it a good idea? Not really.

I know VS is ZZFails way of saying "installer error" etc. But any change in valvetrain in my very strong (worse than body odor) opinion is that you should always upgrade the springs. Too many people break stuff on ZZP's recommendations for me to be comfortable with it.

Look at the specs on a VS compared to your GT1/GT2...then get back at me. It's quite a bit larger.
yea I know its way bigger but with mine I decided that it would do more harm than good upgrading the springs and what not unless I just built the whole thing cause those bigger springs are just gonna make things slam againts each other harder and cause more wear and tare

The cam profile is what raises and lowers the valves. There is no slamming happening at all.

If you were worried about stronger springs wearing the tensioner or chain, then you should have considered the LS9/L76 springs.

Just save your money for the turbo kit or a transmission, if you can get those bought and out of the way early, then you can work up from there. 1.9 rockers on a N/A car may be alright, but a turbo cam or anything right now would make the N/A feel like a dog. You can make plenty of power on a basic turbo kit, a cammed turbo car needs a little beefier tranny and a refresh maybe every year for stretching 7/8ths chains depending on how much you beat it, and you will.
