Rocker panel rust repair

Hey everybody, i need some help and directions. My drivers side rocker panels are BAD! My ground effects are just holding on and my side panel(?) holes have rusted out so it cant stay on. My question here is, how do i fix this? Do i just cut out the rust and replace it with sheet metel and put new ground effects on and covers? Im capable of doing this (I think) but am not sure if thats the way to do it. So, you seasoned autobody veterans, how do i fix this?

To do it right it's about a $2500 job. You need to get entirely new rockers and have a reputable body shop cut and weld them in. Very labor intensive. Most that have rockers that are beyond repair usually just scrap the car for one with a better body.

Since u are in brookings, im in sioux falls and im going to school for autobody.....all u pay for is a little bit of labor and the cost of materials. I would be willing to do this for you if you want

**** I need someone by me to help!

**** scraping the car its not THAT bad to replace them. About 75-80$ per rocker panel x2 and have fun. I need to do mine before it snows.
