Rishon Exhaust Gasket Test

So for a school project I am going to test this Rishon material as a gasket. I plan to cut some into a down pipe gasket and see how it holds up. To record what this gasket is seeing, I am going to use the torque app with the kiwi bluetooth.

Anyone have any experience with this material or with gasket design in general?
 


For a gasket use the old metal one as a template. Then draw it out on the material.

Its fire resistant but not fire proof, and even at that you can only have it contact for a short time. But hay good luck on your school project...





Personally i would use this as a heat shield for under the car.
