Rims?

I need personal opinions from pontiac vets. I was thinking of getting aftermarket or diffrent pontiac rims for my 08 base modle gp. Any suggestions? I was thinking either basket weave or 07 gtp rims.

Sport edition Kv5’s are my personal favorite, and similar 5 spoke wheels are popular, but I’ve seen a lot of different designs that look good.

I’m not personally a huge fan of really tiny spokes or the woven style looks.

There’s a tire and wheel section on the forum that has a lot of pictures. Tire Rack is a great place to shop around. When I was shopping for my wheels, they didn’t show an 18” option for some of the wheels I was considering, but if I looked it up as an ‘08 Mustang, the bolt pattern still fits, but they showed more variety.

Good to know that an 08 stang fits the same. That will make looking a lot easier!

The mustang bolt pattern is 5x114.3 and the Grand Prix is 5x115. They’re close enough that it fits fine.

Not sure how much you know about wheels but make sure to pay attention if the wheels you’re getting are hub centric or lug centric.

Most are hub centric, and you’ll probably need rings to equalize the center bore of the aftermarket wheel with the hub on the car.

The factory center bore is 70.3mm I think, so you’ll need something to go between that and whatever wheel you get if the center bore of the wheel isn’t already that.

Yah i basicly know nothing when it comes to fitment but i know theres a lot of numbers and all of them are VERY important.

I'm looking at style right now way before i think about what brand and fitment. I should have specified that in the orignal post.
