So im doing my retrofit on my 04 gp and i got off the lense but I cant seem to get off the Black housing part. how does this come off? is it glued also?
 


It's got tabs on it that are placed in the butly tape when the headlight is sealed. So there's probably some butyl left on those tabs that hardened back up. Heat it up just a bit more with a hair dryer or however you did it and pull. It'll come right out.
 
Yeah... I am in the process of doing my retro. I broke my reflector putting it back in. But it pulls straight out from the rear black housing. Be very gentle with it as the will break easily. And have fun... its a PITA.... lots and lots of cutting/sanding.
 


So how exactly do you get the projectors out? i see a small bolt inside the housing but behind the reflector. but that isnt all that needs to come off is it?
