Reset Check Engine Light

Hey, guys. My "Check Engine Soon" light is on steadily (not flashing). I know 100% that it's just an Evap emissions code. I've had this happen like 7 times already on this 2003 GP GT. I have always just taken it to the shop to have them read it with their OBD computer and it's the same thing every time: "Did you put the gas cap on right?" I'm sick of going to these guys and bugging them with this stupid evap code, and was wondering if there's any way to reset the light without doing it through the OBD port or unplugging the battery.

You can erease your codes pretty easily...

1, Go to your car. Stick key in the door.
2. Lock and Unlock Repeatedly.
3. Repeat 5 Times.
4. Get in the Car.
5. Roll Windows down
6. Turn Key on
7. Turn key to Accessory.
8. Turn Key back to ON
9. Turn Hazards on.
10. Depress the Gas Pedal 3 Times Pausing one second between Presses.
11. Stare at the Gauge Cluster Grip the Steering wheel Firmly
12.Turn Steering wheel 1/4 turn LEFT And RIGHT (ECU reads clock spring rotations through SRS Airbag module)
13. Repeat Step 12 and Make Really, Really Loud RACEKAR noises....

Or purchase a Cheap Scantool. Walmart used to carry a cheap model for around 50 $
Or Amazon, This http://www.amazon.com/Autel-MaxiSca...VOVK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1325732475&sr=8-2
