Reset Check Engine Light

Hey, guys. My "Check Engine Soon" light is on steadily (not flashing). I know 100% that it's just an Evap emissions code. I've had this happen like 7 times already on this 2003 GP GT. I have always just taken it to the shop to have them read it with their OBD computer and it's the same thing every time: "Did you put the gas cap on right?" I'm sick of going to these guys and bugging them with this stupid evap code, and was wondering if there's any way to reset the light without doing it through the OBD port or unplugging the battery.

Yes and I found this out by accident I had to do some work on my car once and had the battery disconneted for 24 hours when I hooked it back up my light was out did not come back on for months
