Replacing PS Rack

So, I've been working, during my off time, on replacing the PS rack which has been overdue to be replaced. Anyways, got the old PS rack and pinion out and was comparing it with the new one ready to go in. Turns out that I bought a PS rack with the magnasteer option, though my old PS rack didn't have the option. Interestingly enough, when I was dropping in the engine and trans and reconnecting connectors, I found a connector near the bell housing that went to nothing. Looked and diagrams and what not and it turns out that the connector connects to the magnasteer wire on the PS rack. I know some GPs come pre-wired for options that they don't end up having. Checked my RPO code and I have N40 which is non-magnasteer, N41 is with magnasteer. So, I'm thinking everything should work good if I install the new PS rack and just plug in the magnasteer connector, the only thing I'm worrying about is if there is BCM programming that enables the magnasteer. If so, could I just leave the magnasteer unconnected and the PS rack would just function as if it were a PS rack without magnasteer?

Anyways here is what I'm talking about

It is installed. Lines are the same size, just angle different..... so I made them fit. Will maybe start the car tomorrow to see what happens, but currently the battery is dead
