Replacing Lim and up gaskets.

I noticed my Front valve cover gasket is leaking and when i looked down around the motor i notice that around the LIM its wet(oil) but not leaking out, more or less just seeping out. Im going to price all the gaskets from the LIM up tomorrow. I was wondering if theres anything i should be careful of removing or anything on the motor i should replace at this time, I also noticed my car burns oil, and when i checked the oil cap there was a bit of white sludge on it, so i'm assuming that theres some coolant leaking in there as well. Im not to familiar with these motors so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also does anyone know how much the gaskets should roughly cost? Canadian?

Thanks
Kyle.

you will need 2x quarts cheap oil to wash down the valleys once its all taken apart
oil filter and oil for a change after works done
coolant id suggest a full flush and go with green coolant if it isnt alreaady
more then likely you will break the coolant elbows so you will want to replace those
injector orings 12x
valve cover gaskets front and back and gromets
aluminum lim gaskets , uim gasket, tb gasket,
if your tstat has miles on it nows a good time to swap same with rad hoses
steelwool or synthetic steel wool and a gasket scraper aswell as a few cans of brake clean

i would also use some egine degreaser and wash down the engine before you start tearing it down
