replacing head gasket

04 gtp has 140k miles on it, leaking oil around valve covers so was planning on replacing those soon and possibly the lim gasket while I'm at it. Now, if I were to choose to go through the trouble of replacing the lim gasket, would it be worth it to just go ahead and put on new head gaskets too? Or am I good to go for a while, when do head gaskets usually go bad? Just don't wanna tear into the engine, only to have to repeat the process in another 20-30k miles or something. Saw a vid of a guy who bought a gtp with bad head gaskets and he changed literally everything all at once: vc's, lim, supercharger, head gasket, etc... seemed like a smart thing to do, get it all done so you don't have to worry about it.

Head gasket rarely go bad on the 3800 Now LIM does.. I would just knock out the vc and Lim gasket, replace coolant elbows and call it a day

When I acquire a new ((used) GP, I do:
Four struts
LIM Gasket and elbows
Usually the brakes (and frequently a couple of brake lines)
Flush fluids (tranny, oil, brake, power steering, and coolant if you haven't covered that with an LIM change)
Plugs & wires
Anything else as needed (wheel bearings, mufflers, light bulbs, valvecover gaskets) then I drive it for a long long time with no issues.

Head gaskets are a rare problem, and I wouldn't touch those unless I had to.
