Replacing front hub/bearing

It does not hum or click, more of a thumping noise if you will. And there's no difference when turning the wheel...
 


I'm hoping it is just the bearings, but I don't want to just replace them if it's not the problem. Any other ideas guys? Anyone near Huntington Beach area?
