Replacement Windshield

I have a 1997 GTP, recently in an interstate trip the front windshield took a hit and the crack have been increasing over the weeks. Now my question is:


I found a local company that can have me a new windshield installed for $ 120.00.
Since I have the HUD I was afraid that the glass they are going to install, since its not OEM, may not reflect the HUD.


Does anyone know if the factory windshield have a special reflective property or any glass would work?
 


Since the part number for the windshield is different with or without HUD, I would assume there is something done to the windshield to reflect the display better. Just make sure they order the correct windshield when they get it.
