I installeds some speakers in my front doors yesterday, sony xplod's. They spund awesome! I have some nice Pioneer's for the back but after looking into it the process looks complicated! Is it true you have to remove the back seat to replace the backs? I may just end up taking it to a shop, yikes!

Question though, I thought about getting an amp to give the speakers some even better sound. Can an amp be hooked up tp the speakers or do I need subs? Just looking for some opinions on better sound without spending a fortune!!!

yes u have to remove the back seat to get to the 6x9s its not hard at all im sure theirs a write up on this site. as for the other speaker a nice four channel amp would work fine.

Ok maybe I will give it a try on my day off. Another member has a bose amp for sale that I was considering, would it work if I dont have the bose system?

the backseat is the simplest thing you're trying to do. there are two black rings on the bottom of the seat, pull those and it comes out. you'll find i think 4 bolts that holds the top part in, take those out and the top comes off. I can't remember if the rear deck is just sitting there or if it's screwed/bolted in, but either way, simple.

not sure about anything else, i've only replaced speakers
