Removing center console from 04+ GP

Yesterday I spent about two hours trying to figure out how to take the center console out and was unsuccessful. I removed the four bolts from the sides, and even tried removing the four star-head screws from inside the console itself but it still wont budge. what am I missing?
 


Okay the Radio Bezel has to be out, other than that, there's a couple screws on the back (in front of the back seat) and there's a couple inside the center console. You've gotta take the ones under the radio and stuff out first too or it won't come out. I can't remember where they all are exactly though.
 
I had it so that the front half was free but the back half wouldn't lift up. I took the screws out of the sides and also the screws that are inside the center console.
 


haha, it was actaully pretty frustrating. I thought about just ripping it out a few times. I tried wiggling it side to side and back and forth. maybe I didnt pull hard enough though.
 
ok i did this because i was borred one day and i took out all 4 big ones then the 4 inside and pulled up pretty hard sitting in the back seat and it poped loose... there is metal clips that hold it in.... now i might be wrong and might be forgeting something ... if its wiggling around its just the clips if it feels like something is still bolted then im wrong and there is another bolt

when i was pulling from the back seat get your fingers under the consol like where the compartment is... dont pull from the cup holder you will probably rip it right off lol
 


thanks I was wondering whether or not I was pulling up hard enough. I didnt really want to break it but I had a feeling it was just the clips.
 
just be careful... the center console is pretty strong so you can put alot of preasure on it... yet to much and it will break... and i dont think i remember taking the front console out... i think you can fish it right out the back seat... i could be wrong though
