Removing bbv.

Anyone have any tips for removing bbv? Can't be this difficult Smdh lol. That screw on the drivers side is the one giving me the trouble

Why don't you just bypass it? You can leave it on there and have the same effect. Look on ZZP under their tech articles.

I tried the zzp bypass mod. Well partially. Couldn't the loosen up the last bolt to push it down

I could bypass it without any ill effects?

You may have to spray some pb blaster. Ill effects varies from car to car. Some have part throttle KR others don't.

Ok I tried that too :( Smdh. The bolt that's on the drivers side is the one I'm having difficultly with. Been using a socket wrench. Maybe a regular wrench will have to suffice

I'm confused as to which bolt is fighting. There's a 10mm nut holding the BCS to the BCA, then the BCA which is commonly called a turbo BBV has two 10mm/3/8" bolts that hold it to the charger.

It's not the bolt persay, it's the angle. Its the bolt thats closest to throttle body. I Tried the socket and it wouldnt fit so I got frustrated and gave up. I'll give it another try today with a wrench and see can I get better results.

Like I said..which bolt?

They are straight on
