Remove front seat cover?

Hey guys. My girlfriends 08 GP has what feels like a board or something in her seat and when you stop you can feel it tip forward and pat you on the back. Somewhat annoying. Kind of like a tennis ball bouncing around in there. I was wondering if you guys had any idea what it was and or how to remove the seat cover to get at whatever it is.
 


Unbolt the seat from the car and put on bench upside down, you will see hog rings holding the upholstery to the frame, I use pliers to remove them, then you can pull the covers off the foam. Replacement hog rings can be found in EASTWOOD magazines and upholstery shops.
 
If it's like the the 97-03 seats there are no hog rings. Just long plastic clips. If it's the backrest seat cover your trying to get off there is a plastic "seam" that runs across the bottom of the upright piece.
