Remote start wont work

Just wondering if anybody knew how to reprogram my FOB. My battery died on my remote so I replaced it but only lock, unlock and the trunk buttons work when I hold down the start button the alarm just goes off? Any ideas?
 


Mine sort of did something similar. On each fob, only some of the buttons worked. The ones that worked were fine, but the others never worked. Remote start never set the alarm off though. All I did was open up the remotes and put tin foil on the backside of the buttons on the pad to give them a better connection to the board. Worked perfectly :th_thumbsup-wink: Also, kind of obvious but make sure remote start is enabled in the DIC..
 
Oh I haven't checked the DIC. Ill try that otherwise I was just going to bring it back to the dealer and see what they say.

Also, make sure you lock it before you start it.
 
Yeah that's a good idea. I knew what you meant ive gotten the thing re-saudered once but it can still be touchy once in a while. My car is currently in the shop so ill try these things maybe today.
