Remote start sets off alarm

Hey all,

First of all, I'm new here and wasn't sure where to post this, so if it's in the wrong spot I am sorry.

I have a 2005 GP and when I use the factory key fob to start the car with the factory remote start, it sets off the alarm. This just started happened. I haven't done anything recently to the engine that would have disrupted anything. Is this common? How do I fix it? I've searched the net and haven't found anything.....

Any help is appreciated!

Have you disconnected the battery recently? The fob may need to be reprogrammed or rematched.
