remote start issue

I got an 08 grand prix and recently my park lamps wont shut off even with the key out of the ignition. I found that the only way they will shut off without disconecting the battery is to disconect the remote start unit. I was just wondering if anyone els has had these issues. Being a mechanic Id try and work on it myself but without any schematics its very difficult. And ideas are appreciated.

This isn't a factory starter? If you know the brand or model, you might be able to find a schematic or stuff at the12volt.com They have a pretty good library of stuff.
