I haven't been awol, I just read a lot more than I post. Here's some updates of what I did last week.
Okay so now what I did with the LEDs (all 4 footwells as well as all 4 cupholders - front and back and the little cubby below the HVAC):
All hooked up to this for purposes of if I get pulled over and whatnot:
As you can see, the side-emitters in the cubby are much more bright than the footwell lamps. It bugs me (the dimmer lights). LOL.
I took an arrow to the mod plans knee yesterday. Pretty disappointed that I'm running an AC Delco PCM and not a Delphi, so there's no tune available as of yet. I am not giving up at all because 5 years ago when I got this car, they said there was no hope for me to mod it, and Overkill came up with his breakthrough for most of the cars that are left. We'll see what happens. I still plan on a turbo, but it's on a hiatus. We're now looking at WS6 Trans Ams to cure my need for speed (and who can deny the cool factor?)
So the last two things I can do horsepower-wise really are just to throw in my 180* stat and my HV3. And even then, I won't be getting the most out of anything I've done because of the lack of tune.
I guess I'll be moving on to appearance mods quicker than intentioned. I ordered up a GXP spoiler yesterday. Looking for wheels and I want to do dual exhaust but I can't seem to find a rear fascia for a decent price. I don't even really LOVE the Special edition one, but it would be nice to make a special edition clone out of my car... I would settle for a stocker... and I think cutting mine is gonna look super dumb. So I'm not sure what to do. If I was good at fiberglass I'd custom make something. LOL. I hate to be "rice" because I really think an aggressive look should have some horsepower to back it up, but it's whatever. I was talking to a good friend last night who said, why not sell the GP and get a GTP... I'm thinking about it. I could probably come out ahead with some money for mods. So everything I've really bought could easily go into a GTP, except for the HV3, and of course, LEDs have to stay. LOL.
I guess my plans as of now are to prioritize whether I want my duals now or whether I would rather have wheels, fix my 4th brake light back up, get my stock front fascia painted body-color, find a rear fascia with dual cutouts, and upgrade my headunit as well as fix up the new lights that went out in my HVAC (I had fixed all of them that were out, then 2 new ones went out... LOL!) ..... None of these necessarily in that order.
