no it will not leave an outline if you clean it right afterward, just use alcohol, goo gone, goof off, etc. as stated before

and then wash it, wash it, wash it, get off ALL residue, it can eff the paint if left on there too long

YES! its in the 60s here in PITT and spring cleaning is in effect for my GP

Debadged my car yesterday of the stupid dealership logo. Used WD-40 and the sticky stuff came off pretty easy!

I used a pin stripe eraser on a drill a couple of years ago on the other GP.. Worked great.

What I've always used. I also found that if you use the eraser wheel, the colder the glue the better it'll come off. When it gets hot it'll smear some. then you gotta pull out the cleaners.

Debadged several vehicles this exact way.

just debadges my roomates sentra se-r spec v, used a credit card and alcohol and washed the areas, it looks clean, now i wish i could remove those door guards on the GP for an even cleaner look

You can, it looks pretty tits.

Even shaved door handles looks good. Seen it and it is VERY clean.

Ok guys, Im bringing it back.

So today I debadged my GTP and where the badge was it left that area lighter than the area around it. It is very noticeable and I want it to blend in more.

Should I use a light rubbing compound to try and blend it in. Then use a max remover and then clay bar the whole car to get the wax off and make it clean. Then once's that done wax it and buff the area where I put the rubbing compound to bring the shine back?

If you can find GOOF OFF, try it. better than goo gone and cost's less. Menards and wal mart carry it in the paint dept. Just like everyone else says, SLOW and EASY, Clay Bar, and a good coat of wax.

i already clean the surface with an adhersive remover and its all smooth now, its just the color is brighter underneath were the badge beacuse that was not out in the weather, and that is what I want to blend in more. I will do clay bar beacuse its needs it anyway, but will the rubbng compound help with the blending?
