regal/ intrigue spoiler swap?

someone here at my apt building got a new used car, and its a oldsmobile intrigue, its got a spoiler on it looks like this 1998 on oldsmobile intrigue Spoilers - Item 19121 - Spoilerdepot.com

the regal spoiler looks like this 97-04 Buick Regal Painted Rear Spoiler W/Light | eBay

from what i've read the two cars have the same body, if you look at the links, the trunk lids are almost identical.

my question is do any of you know if i could use the intrigue spoiler on my regal, the one linked seems to look pretty good, and looks thicker, also seems to bring the ends more onto the quarter panel than the regal one one i linked.
 


So your basically wanting the spoiler with the brake light and the center pedestal?

Only thing I'd see you having to do is wire in the middle brake light and drill holes for the center part.

Other than that...I'd rock it.

But I don't have a Regal :p
 
from what i can tell the intrigue spoiler has 2 legs/mounts and the brake wire runs in one of them. in person the intrigue the spoiler looks pretty sweet, un like the rest of the car, but it looks like it belongs on a regal. and im yet to find a regal spoiler i can live with, the back of this car is so ugly it needs something to revive it.

i was thinking of tinting the center red reflector on the trunk,(between the tail lights) it don't light up and is a bit to much red back there.
 
The Intigue one doesn't quite fit and looks out of place. Being in Jersey.. I have a spoiler I pulled off a Catera that would fit the Regal with very little modification. I went with a BMW spoller though.
