How much does the regal actually weigh? Door jam states GVW is 4430 pounds, that cant be right
 


GVW stands for gross vehicle weight, so that with a full tank of fuel and passengers/luggage.

They are somewhere in the neighborhood of 3400lbs with no driver.
 
I figured that, i did an state inspection on a 06 nissan altima today and the GVW said 4400 pounds and that thru me off.

I know the diff between the two weight classes but i didn't think a altima could weigh that much. I knew our cars wieghed around 3500lbs but when i checked my door jam it just threw me off
