You actually took apart the L67 and a L36 coil to look inside....and they are the exact same.....??

I wish I knew this, I just went out of my way to buy the L67 coils to replace my MSD coils since they are supposed to be inferior (same as L36) and have known problems compared to stock L67 coils.
 


A ball of wire wound up will look the same. The question is.. with an ohm meter and checking.. are they they same windings?
