Red hot Florida GTP

The car came from Florida. I couldnt find one up here I liked. All way too rusty. Didnt want to fix rust again. Like my 91 GT.
 




Not a thing I can find. Shifts great runs great. Interior didnt have floor mats and was missing a seat belt cover on the b trim. Needed wipers.

Brakes tires and suspension is all new within the last year. All the 100k mile maintance is done already. I will need to replace the super charger oil. That hasnt been done since 50k.
 


Started on the tips today. Grinding it out.


After hand sanding:


Then I wet sanded up to 2000 and then polished with aluminum polish. I think I will need some new rubber hangers on the left muffler so it doesn't sit so low anymore.

 


Nope no clear. Never cleared the ones on my 91. I just polish them up time to time.


This one is in very nice shape. Just needs a bit of detail. Which I have already done.

I think I'm done with the detail work on the exterior. Now to start doing the underhood detail.
