Can i get another opinion on this,i lost the old thread. But sometimes they work sometimes they dont, and its only the rears. I removed the rear switch and no power that i can find. Is it the front that gives power to the rear. I need some help.
Do the rear switches light up like the front?
I tried getting on alldata found several diagrams and cant find a Testing and Inspection for it.
Is this normal on these cars, i tried a search but could find much.

No, the rears do not light up like the front, I wish they did but they don't. You said that there is no power to the rear windows. This could be because of a couple different things. #1 When this happens, is your window lock locked so the other switches won't work? If not.....#2 there is a great possibility that your front drivers window switch is bad. This can be replaced or fixed.

Sorry about your luck. You say you have no power to the rear switches, have you checked all you fuses?

according to the blue wires in the front Drivers Master switch i do. Fuses are good, and i actually heard them last night, first quit night ive had to work on car and i could hear the relays or something clicking when i was pushing the switch. Not sure if it was underhood or under the dash. Any Idea on that.
I guess im going to check the motor by takin the panel off and just try to hot wire to see if they move if not then i got a job ahead of me.
I know how to change the my question is are these riveted to the door molding or a bracket, or are they bolted.

They are bolted on. Have you checked your owners manual to see if there are window relays? I'm not sure if these cars have them but if they do the OM will state the location.

They sure dont have relays. I just wondered what the clicking i was hearing was towards the front, guess its time to take panels off and see if i can power them, i found motors on ebay for 18 bucks hopefully they last hahaha

Found out that its actually the plug, i had the switch out and the windows worked. I moved the plug around while holding the down button on the switch. And sure enough it moves only when i move the plug.. Any way of making the plug tighter to the switch.....

Awesome find man!!! Also thank you for getting back to us and letting us know what it was. Most do not do that. :th_thumbsup-wink:

Fixed the plug I put a small pick in the female connectors and squeezed them together a bit. It works so YEY.
THANKS
