Rear View Mirror Install & Wiring

Picked up a rear view mirror with all the bells & whistles (onstar etc). Unfortunately, my car only has a 3 wire plug and the mirror has a 10 wire plug or something like that.

Anyone have a wiring diagram so I can make it work?

Does anyone have a pic of that mirror mounted on the windshield? My car is missing the mirror and nothing is mounted to the windshield - I think I might be missing a part with the mirror I got?

The autodimmer, and any accessory lights on the mirror should work when you find the power and ground leads.
Onstar, a built in compass, good luck getting those to work properly.

If your windshield is missing the metal clip for the mirror, then you will need to get a universal mirror kit from autozone, napa, etc.
I would take the mirror to the store with you, to make sure it fits.

Thanks man, does anyone know where the control unit is used to drive the compass function?

Will try a wrecker for the mirror base before trying a universal

Hey did you get this figured out? I'm in the same wiring predicament minus the onstar and compass. I now have the accessory lights auto tint mirror but only have the 3 wire plug and need the 7 pin connector.
