Rear sway bar rattling on exhaust

First off, I will be jacking up the car and removing the rear wheels this weekend to see if anything is out of place. But I keep getting a vibration in the strut towers. I thought it was a bad strut mounts. It is not the mounts as they are fairly new. The other day I was driving and as things heated up due to normal driving I could hear my exhaust rattling on the outside and inside of the car. I took a quick peek and could see and hear the exhaust rattiling against the sway bar on the drivers side. I have had the GMPP rear sway bar for years and this is the first time this has ever happened. The bushings are good on the sway bar as I was able to see them. The moog endlinks look good as well.

List of items that have been done recently:

New lower engine mount
New tranny mount
New front LCA's.
New front endlinks
Flipped dog bone's

Any ideas to consider. Alignment possibly?

I'd start by checking your exhaust hangers. They are common enough to tear or fall off. That would let the exhaust move and hit the sway. You know the sway isn't moving much...it's probably more likely the exhaust is moving.
 
Checked the hangers. They are all in place and they were not torn. There is not much clearance between the sway bar and the y-pipe on the drivers side. Only thing I noticed us that there is more movement on the drivers side than the passenger side when I shake the tips. Could the hangers on the drivers side just be old since they are 12 years old? Could the exhaust need adjusting? My borla has been on the car since 2000 and this is the first time I have had this issue.

Any other thoughts?
 
Yup.. mention aftermarket exhaust in your first post next time.

Maybe the pipes turned etc a little. Some aftermarket stuff gets closer etc to rubbing, but still shouldn't be an issue.
 
I ended up replacing the hangers. They seemed to fix the issue. I will have to drive for a few days and see how it goes.
