Rear struts

My rear struts are feeling really bouncy with the cold now and I think it's time to replace them. I know we have blistens but wow they're pricey. Has anyone replaced the shocks with something else? How was the ride quality? I've heard that if I replace the rears with a different brand I should replace the fronts too. I don't plan on selling the car anytime soon and this is my daily driver. I'm not much of a crazy driver so I'm not sure how much change in performance will I have if I don't stick to blistens. Thanks in advance for any input.

Honestly even if you replaced them right now in the cold, it's not going to feel much different unless they were completely blown out with no fluid in them and the springs were sagging like a mofo.

And if you replace them with something other than blistens, it's not going to ride the same.

I suppose you could maybe call up blistens themselve and get them rebuilt, not sure if that is cheaper.

FFDP blisten wont rebuild our stock struts as the not ones that can be rebuilt. My recommendation is find out what blistens are stock replacements and get them. they can then be rebuilt later if they start to wear out again. I turned my stock ones into coil overs and eventually plan to pudrchase the rebuild able ones and make them into coilovers as well.
But if you go with something other than blistens you will be loosing great quality product.

How many miles are on them and are you sure it's not the cold road condition.
Roads get buckled pretty bad in Madison, I'm sure Milwaukee is about the same.

I have 130k miles on them. I do notice the days it's about 20 and under it's when it's the worst. I'm gonna wait it out and take them off to check them.
