Rear speaker covers

Last year, while on vacation, the rear window shattered and glass was everywhere. We don't know how it happened (person trying to break in or freak accident) but we got it home and replaced the window. Lately I've been noticing a buzzing noise from the right rear speaker, which I can assume is glass that has worked its way in there. I have the Bose system which has the speaker covers with holes in it, not mesh. I was looking on internet already and noticed that it seems the only way to remove the cover is take out the whole rear shelf. Is there anyway to remove just the cover? Any help would be appreciated!
 


I hate to break your heart but, you do have to remove the rear seats to get the speaker cover off.

Its only 2 clips for the bottom cushion and then 2 bolts to get the rear back seat part out, you do have to lift out, then up and comes right out.
 
taking the seat out is easy, ive had mine out countless times, also had the rear speaker covers off 3 times so far. you need a 18 mm deep socket to get the bolts off for the seat back at least i did on my car. then theres a few push tree clips that hold the rear deck cover to the metal behind the back of the seat. should only be a 20 to 30 minute deal tops.

its a good time to clean the back window with that deck cover off too, no problem getting to the very bottom of the glass with it off.
 
I hate most GM rear speaker decks. It sucks that the only way to remove the speakers is to take out that whole deck
