• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Rear spark plugs

I got the front 3 changed.

I got one of the rears out.

Any hints or tips to make the backs any easier? I've currently got the Torque Strut Mounts undone and the engine jacked forward.

put a socket on the plugs, take them out lol a swivel helps for the middle plug is near the o2 sensor.

and using a real plug socket is best to keep from cracking a plug. its got a foam insert inside the socket, holds the plug nice and tight.

with the engine pulled forward if you stick your head back there you can see the plugs, feel for the plugs and pop the socket on.

Use a proper spark plug socket, a swivel (u-joint), and patients. Don't forget anti-size and dielectric grease when u install the new plugs and wires.

Sometimes I'll crawl up on top of the engine bay using thick rags to cushion my knees and the use another towel to brace my head against the rubber above the fire wall. This way you can get both hands down there.
