Rear Shocks?

So, after swapping from the 17s to the 18s, it's become more prominent that my rear shocks are completely blown... The springs are alright ((Running Eibach Pro-Kits)), and I just wanted some opinions on what to get next...

Shas OE shocks in there now, and through my wanderings I was looking at the KYB AGX's, pricey, but I kind of like the fact that they're adjustable.. Only thing is she's my daily, so I'm wondering if they'd actually be worth it, or if there's something else out there that won't give as harsh of an OE ride...

Any ideas?
 


What i did, for my 01 gp, i got monroe front quick struts, no name rear quick struts. I have 17" gtp wheels from a 05 on my 01.

For my g6, i bought the cheapest rear shocks, and front quick strut assemblys i could find, i think i paid 180$ for all 4. I go with the cheapest without the work, i dont want to get a shock,and have to put the spring on it ect. Just want the quick ones, thats me though. I did notice, on the rear right away, the struts were rubbing on the tire until they got settled in, then now its about a 1/4 inch from tire to the strut, that was on the grand prix, the g6 has a seperate spring and seperate shock, their not together like the gps.
 
I'm trying to stay away from the quick struts, just 'cause I plan on keeping the lowering springs... I don't mind putting the work into it, I saw Monroes, but I've never had any experience with them, so I kind of stayed away from the idea..
 
Its fairly quick the quick ones, i just dont like to mess with the spring. They fit real nice, the first time the front ones confused me because i had to push the control arm down to get the strut bolts into it.
 
That's fine for me, I only go about 8K a year... and they have a lifetime warranty from my old work...:th_biggrin2: Is there a difference brand to brand on the way it affects the ride, though? I've literally never had to replace shocks in any of my vehicles, so this is uncharted territory for me
