I am looking to delete the rear seat and make a luggage area like they did on the old shelbys any one have any pics of the old 1966 or 1967 shelby 2 seater interior on have and idea of how to fabricate this especially the seat back area and make it look good?

Thanks

my brother has a nissan z and it's a 2 seater.
the interior just continues at the same level as the trunk floor and that is made of a flap that hoods jumper cables and such.

interested how this turns out

no wif you ripped the back seat out, cut out the foot well area moved the fuel tank forwared welded it back together and then permenetly scooted the front seats forward and ran a support beam half way up one of the pilers to the other... and then... on second thought just keep it the way it is

got a picture? the flap thing has me confused

it's like the spare tire cover except it has a hinge on it

so you can store crap under the "floor"

ahh I am getting the idea now of what you are talking about. I was thinking of maybe making it a litle higher though and having a removable basket flush mounted in it one on each side so it could hold some grocerys or something when you just have a bag or two and don't want to throw it in the trunk and in the center could mount one of those storage units that plug into your cigarette lighte and it keeps drinks hot or cold for long trips. But still you gave me some good ideas keep them coming
