Rear Knock Sensor - should it be plugged in?

Code the nasty P0332 code bank 2 knock sensor low voltage. Had a look at the pig and noticed the wires connected to the KS connect to nothing. Is that correct?

Zip tied to a tranny line, plugs into a plastic piece of nothing. Really hoping this is the problem

It has to be plugged in. Look for the wire it is probably hanging somewhere it is only one wire that goes to it. I literally plugged mine in today.

rear knock sensor wire is clipped to the bottom back of the p/s pump, look for it in that area.

There will be a single wire (without end from your pic..lol) in the harness that connects to the vss (trans speed sensor) and oil pressure switch. Holler if you need a picture of it, I have a harness or two on the wall I can get one from.

I am hoping this BS is causing the P0332 code - low input voltage for bank 2
Still doesn't explain my horrendous KR but might explain why timing is still pretty strong with 5-8 degrees of knock (assuming its real) - car still pulls like a cheetah for a stock pulley low tech 3.8

Just to be clear, it goes SENSOR > SINGLE WIRE > PLUG > DIFFERENT PLUG > SINGLE WIRE > HARNESS THAT INTEGRATES WITH VSS & OPS?
That "DIFFERENT PLUG" should be just behind the PS pump?

To be clear...it really goes

Sensor in a location that's a pain to a pigtail extension.
Extension typically to a connector at the back of the ps pump where it connects to a single wire
That single wire is in teh loom that comes down from the top of the motor. In it is the wiring for the oil pressure, rear knock (single wire), VSS and rear O2
