Rear GXP brake caliper drag

I'm having an issue with my passenger side rear caliper severely dragging after doing a conversion from the stock brakes on my 02 GT to rear GXP calipers from an 08 GXP. I did the corvette C5 front brake upgrade at the same time as the rear upgrade, and only the right rear caliper is dragging, which leads me to believe that the master cylinder is functioning properly. I installed all new parts with the calipers, including brake lines. After noticing/seeing the dragging caliper, I replaced the hub (mine had play) rotor, and pads. The drag persisted.i jacked the car up and tried to spin the tire, and was able to turn the wheel only slightly. This weekend I replaced the brake line (For GXP rears, My stock lines rubbed the tire.) the caliper is still dragging.

Has as anyone else had brake drag like this after their conversion? I have pictures of the hose orientation in the link below. The pictures of the clean side is the side that locks up, the dirty pictures are the side that is fine. Do the hoses look like they are installed improprly? I'm thinking about switching the sides that the hoses are on to try and eliminate the switchback caused by the length of the lines.

I rebuilt the caliper. Forgot to add that. The piston compresses easily. The brake pad shims are greased and the pads slide freely.

I am not familiar with the GXP rear brake upgrade but did you check the parking brake on that side. disconnect the cable and see if it still does it???

The parking brakes are internal to the brake rotor (drum style), and don't utilize the calipers. I was hoping that was the case earlier. . .

Mine on my 2001 was dragging and heating up the rotor. I bought a new caliper, brake pads and even a new line, still was dragging. I took the back pressure valve off (located in the hard line in front of the rubber line) it was ok. I Noticed that the caliper mounting bracket after you pumped the brakes was not allowing it to return, handing. I put new bolts with more lube in and it was still doing it. I ended up taking a drill size that was one size bigger than the slide holes and drilling them out. re-lubed it and the problem went away.

So try a new caliper mounting bracket or drill them out one size bigger, I think mine bit was like a 1/32 bigger bit than the hole.
