Rear End Roar

I have a 2006 GP with 45k on it. I have noticed a 'roar' coming from the rear of the car while in motion. Normally I would think bearings, but I don't want to just start replacing parts. The noise seems to be worse at lower speeds, and doesn't change when swerving.
I'm thinking rear end alignment or tires. Any suggestions?

The rear alignment should not be off that much. Not enough to make a difference anyway. The tires might be the cause if they are getting worn down or need rotated.

But my bet would be on the bearings. One way to tell if jack the car up and spin each wheel by hand. A bad bearing will make a noticable noise, even when spinning by hand. Or, if there is any play in the wheel, that might also be a good sign of a bad bearing.

I know this post is really old, but I found the solution. I had the tires rotated and the problem went away.
