Rear driver's side power window is broke. Ideas?

Hi guys, first post here.

I recently picked up a '99 GTP and one of the issues I'm having is with the rear driver's side window. I picked up a new window motor from Rock Auto, assuming it would be the problem, but upon plugging it in I still got no response. Then somebody told me that the windows operate on a loop system from the driver's control switches and that I should try swapping the switch out. So I went to a junk yard to pull another one. Lo and behold, it operates all windows... except the rear driver's side.

Any suggestions on how I can solve this?

Thanks people.

The door's switch doesn't do anything either. I have yet to hear the motor in that door even try to do anything.

And I don't currently have any equipment to test whether or not the motor is receiving any power.

a simple test light is all you need, if the light comes on its got power. they run under 5 bucks most of the time.

you can also run some wires from the cars battery or a spare battery to the motor to see if it works.

I'll pick one up, thanks.

But like I said, I don't think the motor itself is the problem since the brand new one I just bought isn't doing anything either.

If I find that there isn't any power in the wire, what could be the source of the problem?

it could be a broken wire.

put power to the old one, if it works then you know the switch and or wires are suspect.

follow the wires through the door and the accordion to the car body, look for damage to one or more.
