Rear Deck Speaker Grilles

Hey folks! No luck with the search today. Looks like someone's thrown something heavy onto the rear deck ('04+)- the speaker grille's broken off a little one-inch oval... and dropped it onto the speaker. Hopefully, that's why the speaker sounds like butt.

But the reason for this thread: I know I need to remove the back seat and remove the entire rear deck piece to get to the speakers - and I'd rather know before I start tearing stuff out. Are the grilles removable, too? I'm hoping they are - gmparts has them for $10 and the whole deck for like $250. Anybody see how they were connected when they replaced their rear speakers?

You have to take out the rear seats to remove the rear speaker deck.

Uhh, thanks. See, I've already got that part down. I just don't feel like removing the stuff without the proper part to replace the broken bits. This is pure laziness: I don't feel like hauling out the back seat, removing bolts, removing the deck cover, looking at it, putting it all back, then ordering parts if someone on here has already done the work for me. It's not hard stuff, just a pain in the rear and needlessly time-consuming, so I'm trying to figure out if someone else has seen it.

Then be lazy & pry the speaker grill out with a screw driver. It's already damaged anyways.

Hm, that is... actually, that's a pretty good idea. Frankly, if another one's not supposed to just fit right in, I'm sure I'm smart enough to make it stay. Good show, sir.
