To be completely honest, I'm not even looking for any freebies, I just want to learn and its nearly impossible to find a mechanic who'll let you in the garage to watch and take notes, etc.

Obviously, everyone loves saving money, but if someone can provide services that are valuable, there's no reason they shouldn't be compensated for them.

But you guys are all very sweet and helpful. I'm learning a lot just from spending some time here with you.

My 02 GT does the same thing, except mine only happens right after you start the car, and you take the 1st corner. After that, there is no more fluid swishing sound. Kinda weird.
