If you have the person doing your tune delete\turn off the DTC code for the rear o2 and the EGR then yes. But what does this have to do with being ready for headers? If you get rid of your EGR your gas mileage will suffer.

Just throwing that out there for ya.
 
it has to do with the fact that doing the egr delete when you are doing headers is very simple and costs nothing....

im getting the mail order tune, so im guessing the code will still be there
