Re: My 2004 Comp G (Updated 3-4-12)

My car is currently broke:( randomly wouldn't start doesn't have spark replaced a bunch of ignition parts still broke...this sucks driving my toyota

Re: My 2004 Comp G (Updated 3-4-12)

What all did you replace?

Does the battery have a charge? (I know dumb question but it could be that simple)

Re: My 2004 Comp G (Updated 3-4-12)

Well after a week of messing around and 3 trips of 300 miles a piece its finally back on the road...didn't have any spark so I made the mistake of just throwing parts at it...replaced ICM crank sensor and oil pressure sensor because it had the code for it...still had no spark ended up checking voltage coming into the ICM and I didn't have any...there was 12 volts at the fuse box but at the icm and all connections in between I had nothing...ended up pulling the whole wire harness apart didn't find anything...ended up being the stupid fuse box...little tabs inside the fuse box that hold the fuses in had broke so 1 side of the fuse wasnt sending power...50 bucks at the wrecking yard got me a used fuse box and its back on the road...temp gauge stopped working on the way home and would rev up everytime I stopped and restarted it...but today everything is back to normal so I guess I will leave it alone lol

Re: (wa04compg) 2004 Comp G: Operation Plastidip

To tell you the truth I haven't even thought about it...that color is the stock comp g caliper color...can't tell if they where painted or powdercoated but they do have a few scrapes...kinda wish I could color match them to the car

Re: (wa04compg) 2004 Comp G: Operation Plastidip

Maybe the silver color that Drunkies vette brakes are would look nice

Re: (wa04compg) 2004 Comp G: Operation Plastidip

Dupli-color has a product called "Metalcast". Its got a ground coat of this really awesome silver, and then you can top coat it with a metalcast color and it makes it anodized. It's pretty awesome. I did my calipers and left the bracket the silver ground coat.
They do have a burnt orange color, not sure how close to your body color it is tho.
I thought someone on here had the orange, but I can't remember who it was.

Here is what mine turned out like:

Re: (wa04compg) 2004 Comp G: Operation Plastidip

Yeah I checked out your brakes a couple times now...purple isn't my color but I really like how it turned out...if I could find a orange close to mine and do a high gloss metalic clear coat I would deff be interested in that...ill have to swing by lowes tomorow
