Re-running Window Regulator Cable..?

I have a 98 GP GT coupe. The drivers side window motor broke. When i replaced it with a new one, i ended up unspooling the cable.

I tried following the guide in the "How to" section, but i cant remove the cable guide at the bottom. Does anyone have any tips on how to remove it from the regulator so i can re-run the cable?
