Yep. Wife has an obsession with sharpies and drawing.

So far it's stayed on through being scrubbed with a wet sponge.

Got a new MAF sensor. Still starts, runs a few seconds, then dies. Runs and idles perfect without maf plugged in.

Ideas?

Most cars that are sharpie'd are white. So, this is different for sure.

I'll be getting the blackhoused headlights in a couple months with HID's. I've also got about 2 inches of water inside the tails, so a new set of those are in the making as well.

Wife hasnt drawn as much as she'd like because weathers been rainy, but it's holding up with no issues in the rain.
it's about 3 days of her spare time on there.. with 1 whole day being figuring out how to make each side match perfectly.

That's probably a grand total of 3 or so hours right there. including measuring, taping, cutting cardboard angles, figuring out a pattern to do and what areas of the car to cover, etc..

If she sat down and really focused she could probably cover a car in a day and a half, top to bottom. This is mainly done in her free time while the car is still untagged. Couple of days more and it'll be done.

Side note, new multimeter in the mail to see if it's wiring for the maf sensor gone bad.

Also a bluetooth obd2 reader for torque app because it's a little cheaper than buying a code puller from autozone for $100... And yes I'll be getting a wideband and aeroforce separately for tuning purposes.

Looks good, has the custom feel.
Hope the car tat doesn't fade out too quick.
Be nice to clear it, but I don't know how that would stop the black from turning.

I guess the solvents in the clear coat would make the sharpie run, unless it's applied super carefully. Should have wet sanded with 1200grit first and used wax degreaser before sharpie'ing. But hey learn something new each day.

Now I know it for the next time.

Rain and cool weather are a boon to sharpie drawing, but the hood is nearly complete. All thats left is to fill in the remaining area.

She will also be filling in the fender and door up to the black lines drawn.

Will be registered next paycheck.

The next project will be to test the power window switch for driver side and check to see if it's on track. Gotta get that window working. Hot weather is coming!
