• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

In this thread.

There is too much wheel gap.

I declare next mod to be removal of gm squares.

I also declare a drop before retrofitting.

I also declare you remove the Carbon Fiber ****.

Thank you all for reading, peace.

Fixed.

Re: E IN v Y = Most Hated

IDK about you, but I like having locking lug nuts. May be something to look into, especially when you have over $1000 just sitting there.

Re: E IN v Y = Most Hated

I'm no scientist or anything... how does CF wrapping a metal make the metal lighter?

Re: E IN v Y = Most Hated

I'm no expert, so correct me if I'm wrong.
I always thought the point of having a carbon fiber hood (or any other body panel) was to replace the heavy, metallic hood.

Carbon fiber hoods are made from a "Carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer" (light plastic wrapped in carbon fibers to keep it from breaking under tension).
So whats the point of wrapping metal with carbon fiber when the metal is already strong enough on its own.
