Rave: valve job

So my stepdad knows a guy that works in a performance shop that build big blocks/fast small blocks/ ect. Well anyway I needed a valve job so he came over and took them off to his shop. I got the bill: less than $40 for a valve job! and he even cleaned the gasket surfaces and possibly put them in a hot/solvent tank. I should have had him mill them for a bigger cam since he was so dang cheap. /rave

Sorry about the rave thing, we have a rant/rave section on my local forum.

Wtf is wrong with that one head? It looks like he missed a spot.

Are you talking about inside the port? that was the farthest my dremel could reach inside haha. I ported these myself.

And yes they are L67 heads.

You know you can get extensions for dremmels at menards home depot and lowes right? Just a heads up. Those do look nice tho. Wish I had a good shop in ND to get work done.

thanks. If i dont start the swap this weekend i might go pick some up. Its only a little bit in the intake port though, I got all of the exhaust covered, which is where there is the most improvement.

Edit: Actually, probably not. Im not gonna risk nicking the valve seat. Because I know I will.
