Is that the pic you meant to post? Looks more like a piece of plastic than a cable. Maybe a couple more pics from a little distance as well so that we can see where you found that.

That's the pic I have right now. It's coming from near my rear deck speakers, down into the trunk. There's a power and a ground going to a copper plug with a plastic cover, from what I can see

Is there a spot to put a 194 bulb? If so, that is the trunk light.

Mine was tucked away as my car didn't have the trunk light option. Stick a bulb in it and you are good to go.

Well, stuck a light bulb in it and Bam. Turns out it was the wiring harness for a trunk light. I don't have the trunk light assembly in my car though, so I picked up a pair of LED strips I'll be splicing into the wires.

Got some color changing strips. Too cold to mess with the remote, but I got the lights wired at least.
