ram hemi vs gxp?

Im new here, had my car for bout two months though. Ive done cai and exhaust so far. Tonight I ran across a crew of rams that i used to hang around in the past. I raced a regular cab and a quad cab. I only beat them both by two car lengths. I know their trucks are fast, but im in a lighter car. I raced a camaro ss 6.2 and lost by 2 car lengths. Is it just me thinking my car is slow, or were those trucks stupid fast?

....I've seen time slips from gxps pulling off 13.3.-13.5 1/4 passes with just CAI & exhaust sooooo.....driver mod?
 
theres literally metric tons of souped up diesels here in the midwest and ive seen a few on the track go ten seconds in a 1/4 . most people break em pretty quick because somehow they forget to upgrade axles and differentials

we're not talking SRT10... he beat both trucks he faced, just not as bad as he wanted too, so they should have been mostly stock....

SRT-10's are the V-10 viper engines regular cab 6 speed trucks the diesiel rams rape alot of cars being that there running 60+psi of boost

:th_scratchhead:...I know what a SRT10 is....the statement I made argued the fact that they were not anything more special than a Ram HEMI...@ best they make high 14 sec 1/4 passes, stock of course....
 
He was talking about hemi rams not cummins or srt10's. The hemi ram is slow as balls stock. I ran a charger rt with my rockered 3.4 gtp and beat him really bad. They aren't fast as my gtp was slow.
 
i dunno man, just saw a new hemi ram at the quarter mile track friday night, all it had was a intake and tune, the damn thang ran a 12.8

if it was a r/t, I could see that...heard they can break into the 13s stock...would have been one hell of a tune, and most likely better than stock wheels/tires....
 


Well ive heard the quad cab axtually has beatin an srt10 ram quad cab before. So it might be that fast. I know the same night I had a trans am behind me while I was chasing down the trucks. And the trans am couldnt catch me. He actually broke the driveshaft on the ram yesterday. But they like to play the mystery mod game. Ive seen a bottle under his bed.
 
And the fact he was pulling on the single cab while he ways significantly more says something. I will vouge he has beaten three rt rams before my eyes.
