Ram air question?

So I recently purchased a gtx and I've been curious as to how good it would be to take my car go an automated car wash since im afraid I would suck in massive amounts of water. I understand that nothing happens when its raining so why be scared of a carwash but they are as if a huge downpoar came down on my car. There is also a brainbox inside my air box so that also scares me. So if anyone has ramair and could lend me advice I would appreciate it. Thanks

Don't take it through the auto wash! the swirls it will have after it comes out of there:th_nervous: But I'm a detailer, so I have an eye for that, maybe you don't...but as for the water part, you do have a point. I would think you would be ok, they had to have thought of that when they designed the car.

if your that worried then just hand wash the car, i have a ram air setup and ive never had a problem taking it through the carwash. remember they flood the car before it goes into production to check for that kind of stuff

like 01gtp said, just wash it your self and then theres not much to worry about

U should be fine on it. I know that some of the grand Ams had ram air (including my moms) and she has not had any problems.
